PASTOR'S WELCOME

For what we proclaim is not ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

                                                             2 Corinthians 4:5

The Gospel of Jesus Christ changes everything.

We believe this wholeheartedly and hope you'll experience it with us during your visit. Worship with us, grow with us, go serve with us, share life with us in Christian community, and rediscover with us the joy of the Gospel.

On behalf of the elders, pastors, staff and covenant partners of Neelsville

Grace and Peace to you in Jesus' name,

Pastor Pete

OUR MISSION

Glorify God by Being and Making Disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are called to glorify God

by being and making disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are called to glorify God...

in our Sunday worship and our weekday lives.

We are called to be disciples…

by growing in our faith, our knowledge and application of the Bible,

and our love for God and for one another as brothers and sisters.

We are called to make disciples

by sharing the message of God’s grace and love,

and by serving others in Jesus' name in our community

     and around the world.

Our Story

Neelsville's story began in 1845 with a handful of faithful people and a calling from God. Joseph Neel donated a plot of land and $50, and God did the rest. Since that time, generations have worshiped, prayed, heard the Gospel, celebrated at weddings, mourned at funerals, and served the community here at Neelsville.

Neelsville has been making a difference in the Germantown community for well over a century. We are a multicultural congregation who knows that God has placed us in this rapidly changing region for a reason. We are gratefully aware that we stand in a long and vibrant tradition of faithful believers who have come before us.

As we look to the future, we are thankful that God has more in store for us, and so we eagerly embrace the story that God is continuing to write at Neelsville.
