At NPC, worship plays an integral role in helping our church accomplish its mission to glorify God by being and making disciples of Jesus Christ. When you come to a worship service at Neeelsville, after brief announcements and an occasional Good News report, we lift up our hearts to the Lord, praise Him, confess our sins, are assured of His pardon for our sins, and state what we believe. We hear the Word of God through the Bible and a sermon preached that shares the Gospel and preaches truth as it is in scripture. We pray the Lord's prayer and for the requests from the congregation, and receive a blessing as we close our time together in praise.

Our musicians teach the church about God through music and provide the opportunity to sing these truths together as a congregation. We are an intergenerational and international conregation, so when you come to worship at Neelsville you will notice the worship music we sing is a blend of contemporary songs and classic hymns intended to bring praise and honor to our Lord.

As worship leaders, in the words of Bob Kauflin, we seek to "magnify the greatness of God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit by combining God's Word with music, thereby motivating the gathered church to proclaim the Gospel, to cherish God's presence, and to live for God's glory."
