WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Location

20701 Frederick Road, Germantown, MD 20876

There is parking in the front and rear, with designated parking spots for first time visitors (comes in handy when the lot fills up). We encourage you to come in the front doors below the tower, which is the entrance to the Welcome Center. There you will be greeted by a NPC volunteer who can offer you directions to Sunday School classrooms, childcare, the sanctuary, a pastor, or try to answer any questions.

Sunday Schedule, 9:30 & 11am Worship, 9:30am classes for all ages, 10:40am fellowship time

Our worship style is reverent, warm, and relaxed; it includes Scripture readings, Reformed liturgy, prayer, classic hymns, and contemporary praise. Children are welcome in our services, and there is also childcare available all morning (pagers are also available). Please ask an usher for a Worship Bag for your child. All our facilities are handicap-accessible. Meet the pastors in the Welcome Center before and after worship and enjoy refreshments and conversation.

Church of All Nations

We are a multicultural church. The narthex flags represent the birth countries of our members, including: Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, China, Cuba, Ethiopia, Ghana, Great Britian, India, Japan, Jamaica, Kenya, Latvia, Lebanon, Madagascar, Nigeria, Russia, Rwanda, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Taiwan, Togo, Uganda, the United States of America, and Zambia.

Biblical Preaching

We believe that God's Word changes lives, so we eagerly read it, believe it, and proclaim Jesus' Good News.

The pastors of Neelsville are committed to expository preaching, which is preaching that focuses on a passage of Scripture to discover the original intent, find its timeless meaning for ourselves and the world, and then apply it to our lives. God is faithful to speak to us each time we open His Word together!

Spiritual Growth

From 9:30 to 10:30, Neelsville offers Christian education programs for people ages 2 through 102. We believe that discipleship is a life-long process and that Sunday morning is a key opportunity to grow in our faith together, loving God with our heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving our neighbor. Check out the Adult Education section of the website for up-to-date class information.

Fellowship

We view one another as more than just friends and members of Neelsville, but as brothers and sisters in Christ. And we view first time visitors as our special guests. As a family of faith that welcomes and invites friends to join us for a visit, we very much look forward to enjoying fellowship and conversation with you every Sunday. Check the bulletin for opportunities to connect with new friends in the church family.

Prayer

We believe deeply in the transforming power of prayer. If you have a prayer concern or praise report, please call or fill out this form. You may also fill out a prayer card during the service. The pastors will pray for your request and our prayer team will pray for you throughout the week.

Service

Greeters, ushers, nursery care volunteers (serving alongside our professional staff), sound engineers, choir members, praise band teams, coffee-makers and more; there are many opprotunties to volunteer to serve on Sunday mornings. We encourage members and friends (even friends who have only attended a few times) to volunteer to serve. If you are interested please call the church office or email office@neelsville.org
