Neelsville Kids & Family Ministry

A core value of NPC is strengthening families to share the love of Christ with children, leading them into a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus. We do this by encouraging discipleship for children and their parents, worshiping as a family in a service that welcomes children, and fellowshiping with a loving church family. Sunday School

Sunday School is at 9:15am during the school year. Our children ages 3 through 5th grade gather in a loving, nurturing environment to learn of God's love and grace. Through Bible-based curriculum, Sunday School teachers help our children grow in their relationship with Christ.

Children dig into Scripture following themes of the publishers of David C. Cooke with TRU curriculum. This curriculum helps "children and their families connect to God, find their place in His Big God Story, and respond to Him through the power of the Holy Spirit." Every Sunday, Neelsville Kids participate in exciting activities that bring the stories and themes of the Bible to life. Parents have access to weekly guides that help them facilitate discussion and read Bible passages related to each lesson. Classes are led by dedicated and background-checked volunteers.

Children are welcome participants and even leaders in Sunday morning worship. We are glad to have a wiggly sanctuary filled with the children of God (many of whom are kids) who are growing in their understanding and experience of what it means to worship God together with their church family. Each Sunday during the later service there is a message just for children, except for the first Sunday of the month when we celebrate communion together. Our Worship and Play Zone is available for infants through first grade children during the service.
