Meet Our Staff

  • Jeff Rickett

    lead Pastor

    Pastor Jeff brings over twenty years of pastoral leadership and ministry experience coupled with an extensive counseling background. He co-founded and directs Heart Song Counseling, a national biblical counseling ministry working with singles and couples dealing with a variety of issues. He is also a Pastoral Counselor and Church Planting Assessor with the Sent Network.


    Jeff has served as a pastor at Grace Christian Church at Herndon, VA; a church planter and co-pastor at City of Hope, a multi-racial church in Columbia MD; the Small Groups/Shepherding Pastor at Broadneck E.P. Church in Annapolis, MD, and the Small Groups/Pastoral Care Pastor at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church in Howard County, MD.  He has taught, trained, and led seminars on small group leadership and lay counseling and trained others in evangelism, shepherding, and community building.


    Pastor Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration, Economics and Accounting from McDaniel College and a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Val, have two young adult children, Samuel and Amanda, and one with the Lord, Scott.

  • Jamie Swope

    Director of Children's and family Ministry

    COMMISSIONED lay pastor

    Jamie, a San Diego native, has been married to her husband, Kevin, for more than a decade raising their three children. Jamie is passionate about coming alongside families to disciple their children.


    Before serving at Neelsville, Jamie served on staff as a ministry coordinator at Gateway Church in San Diego and led ministry to military families at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.  She also worked as a youth development specialist, a secondary English and theater teacher, and adjunct college professor. She is a San Diego State University Aztec alumni with a Bachelors in Theater to teach English, a secondary teaching credential, and a Master of Arts in Education.

    Jamie founded and leads the grassroots movement, Montgomery County Vulnerable Children Network which mobilizes local churches to serve and bring the hope of Christ to vulnerable children and their families.

  • AMANDA ENZENAUER

    Student MINISTRIES cOORDINATOR

    Amanda is originally from Monrovia, CA, but moved to Maryland in 2018 to serve in camp ministry with Camp Sonshine. She will always have her California roots but is thrilled to start a new chapter of life in Maryland. Her passion for youth began in college as she was serving in both the children's and college departments of her church throughout her 4 years of school, while also working as a tutor in the California Public Schools. Amanda is so excited to serve the amazing youth of Neelsville, and can't wait to see how the program grows, both in size and depth of relationship with Christ!

  • Janna Leigh Ryon

    interim Director of Worship Music

    Janna Leigh is the choir director and piano teacher at Watkins Mill High School. She is a graduate of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, has a Masters in Music from Yale, and a DMA from University of Maryland. She has over 20 years of experience teaching in public schools, has produced and directed many high school musicals, and has 15 years of experience directing choirs and various music teams at churches. She has played at the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall and Strathmore. She is a professional musician trained in the oboe.

  • Paul Park

    ACCOMPANIST

    Paul is a Germantown resident with a Bachelor’s degree in composition from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, a Masters in Church Music from Boston University, two Masters degrees in Music and Music Education from Teacher’s College of Columbia University in NYC. He has conducted church choirs in South Korea and Cambridge, MA, Flushing, NY. As a composer, his choir, orchestra, and musical works and arrangements were performed and recorded for numerous occasions such as the Korean National Prayer Meeting, MBC-TV programs, concerts, independent films, studio CD recordings, music festivals, and Samsung Electronics Karaoke and etc. He has taught in a Christian school in New Jersey and a mission international school in Harbin, China. He was hired in 2018 as a middle school chorus teacher by Montgomery County Public Schools. Paul is married and has three children.

  • norah frazier

    children's ministry associate AND mEDIA sPECIALIST

    Norah, a Jersey native, has been serving in MOPS at Neelsville for five years as the activities and outreach coordinator. She is a lawyer with a Bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. She and her husband Casey have been married for 10 years with three children, Lucy, Theodore, and Henry, and have been teaching Sunday School in the local church for several years. She enjoys traveling.

  • MICHELLE NELSON

    OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

    Michelle is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She and her husband James met at Penn State while she was studying Architectural Engineering. The two connected with Neelsville through Rebuilding Together projects and since then, she has served with the Children's & Family Ministry Team, Monday Night Women's Bible Study and the Giving Tree Mission. Michelle, James and their children, Emma and Jack, feel blessed to be a part of the Neelsville family. Michelle is excited to serve the NPC staff, committees, congregation and community as Office Administrator.

  • STELLA ANTWi

    OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Stella has been a Presbyterian since childhood and joined Neelsville when she moved to Germantown in 2014. She became a member in 2016 and joined the Chancel Choir. In Ghana she worshiped with the Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for over 20 years and worked with Total Petroleum Ghana Limited, a multi-national company, as an administrative assistant.  She is married with 3 daughters. She enjoys singing and cooking.

  • Wendy Couillard

    Treasurer

    Wendy is a long-time member of Neelsville Presbyterian Church, and has attended since she was a little girl. Over the years, Wendy has served in many capacities in the life of our church, through Children’s and Youth ministries, Mission trips, Deacons, Fellowship, Music and Worship, and is currently serving as an Elder on the Session Board. She and her husband, Gregg, have been married 34 years. They have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. Together, they thoroughly enjoy their roles as grandparents and spending as much time with family and friends as possible. They volunteer with the USO at BWI and Walter Reed, and love traveling and boating. Wendy’s favorite things involve family & friends, baking, crafts, music & reading.

  • Mike Kaiser

    Sexton

    Michael and his wife, Renee, have lived in Germantown since 2009 and have been a part of the Neelsville Presbyterian Church since 2017. Michael quickly joined the Praise Band only days after attending his first service, and has been a part of that group ever since. In his role as Sexton, Michael provides maintenance to the church property and staff.
