Motivated by the love of God, our mission is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet the human needs of our community in His name without discrimination.
In Matthew 25:35-39, Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
NPC members teach English as a second language on Saturday mornings at the Church. With the cooperation of Montgomery County, Neelsville teaches faith-based job-readiness courses at the Clarksburg jail for those persons who will be re-entering the community. Members also provide free tutoring to students, as well as backpacks filled with food and other essentials for students at nearby junior high schools. Other annual events at Neelsville include the Christmas Giving Tree which provides low-income children and their families with food and presents; Winter jackets and warm clothing handed out in the District, and collections throughout the year of non-perishable food items, formula and diapers go to Germantown and Damascus Help for distribution.
We also joyfully support and partner with the following local ministries:
